Loan scholarships for higher studies
abroad
History:
Established in 1892, the trust funds higher
education of deserving Indians. So far, the
trust has supported 2,890 scholars and awarded
Rs. 68 million to promising students from
various strata of society.
Graduates with consistently good academic
record, who have applied for admission to
universities abroad for the Fall / Spring
semesters. The form can be obtained from Mulla
House, 51 M G Road,
Mumbai 400 001 against Rs 50/- by cash or MO
before January 31.
Eligibility:
a) Students with just a basic graduation are
normally not encouraged. b) While only students
with a consistent academic record will be
eligible to apply, those have had opportunity
of studying abroad will not be considered for
the award. c) Age limit not more than 27 years
at time of applying.
Total worth:
FULL fees + Monthly stipend of around 1000
US dollars.
